Depending on the need, we offer a success fee or hourly rates. Success fees are negotiable depending on the size of the transaction and if real estate is involved. Typical business only transaction success fees are a percentage of the sales proceeds, with a minimum dollar figure. The fees are typically paid at closing from the proceeds of the sale at closing. We can act as a seller’s broker or a buyer’s broker. As a buyer’s broker, we can search for unlisted opportunities or co-broke on opportunities listed with other brokers. Every engagement is different and fees are negotiated separately. If hourly, will keep detailed logs of the time spent on your project if you want an hourly arrangement. We count in ten minute increments and round down when in-between them. Work logs will be disclosed to all clients upon the closing of a deal. We only work for as long as a project requires, so you’ll never be overbilled for unproductive time. Final bills will include costs for copy, filing, messengers, and third-party research tools or services. Principal rates fall between $500 and $600 per hour while Associate rates are between $300 and $400 per hour. Retainers must be paid upfront.
